Evan Moore
Evan Tyler Moore passed away Nov. 23, 2018, at McLanes Children’s Hospital in Temple.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m., at Riley Funeral Home in Hamilton. Burial will be in Center Valley Cemetery toward Pottsville. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Evan was born March 8, 2018, in Clifton, to Benjamin and Brittany Moore. At birth, it was discovered that Evan had four congenital heart defects, Transposition of the Great Arteries, Ventricular Septal Defect, Atrial Septal Defect and Severe Pulmonary Stenosis.
He received his first surgery, a BT-Shunt, at two weeks old at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. He fought a long hard battle for eight months, but through everything he was going through he always had a smile on his face.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Douglas Wayne Moore, his great-grandpas, Jesse Ray Brumbalow, Werner Bottlinger Jr. and Bobby and Mary Moore.
Survivors include his parents, Benjamin and Brittany Moore; two brothers, Koltin and Kason Moore; two sisters, Emaleigh Moore and Katelynn Simmons; grandparents Clay and Cresha Moore of Hamilton, and Joesph and Shonna Cezar of Orange; great-grandmas Peggy Brumbalow and Coda Bottlinger of Hamilton; Aunt Brooke, Uncle Brad and Uncle Chris, all of Hamilton; and many great-aunts and uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Moore, Koltin Moore, Clay Moore and Christopher Moore.
Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Frederick and Camy Moore.
