Ethel Schoen
Ethel Schoen, 102, died Sept. 20, 2021, in Comanche.
Services were Saturday, Sept. 25, at Zion Lutheran Church in Priddy. Burial was in Zion Cemetery, Priddy.
Mrs. Schoen was born March 8, 1919, in Priddy, the daughter of Richard Paul Hohertz and Mary Gromatzky.
She was married to Erwin Schoen Dec. 11, 1937, in Priddy.
She lived all her life in Priddy and was a homemaker and farmer rancher. She was a Lutheran.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Paul Hoherts and Mary Gromatzky; husband Erwin Schoen; sons Luthern Schoen and Wayland Schoen; sister Anna Schoen; and brothers Waldo Hohertz and Wardell Hohertz.
Survivors include her son Rodney Schoen and wife Kay of Blanket; daughters-in-law Virginia Schoen of Rockland, Massachusetts, and Sylvia Schoen of Garland; grandchildren Tracy Worthy and Mark, Todd Schoen and Barbi, Brian Schoen and Travis Schoen; and great-grandchildren Georgia, Griffin, Jillian, Kayla, Kenda, Kaycee and Kylee.
Pallbearers were Clyde Tyson, Dale Buffe, Randy Hohertz, Brian Haile, Weldon Ivy and Vance Schuster.
