Eli Morris

Eli Morris, 37, died June 9, 2022, in Hamilton.

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. July 16 at Living Hope Outreach Church, followed by a meal at First Baptist Church Youth and Family Life Center at noon. Arrangements are under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.

Eli was born Sept. 20, 1984, in Clifton to Darwin and Patricia Morris.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking, collecting junk and helping others. His children were the loves of his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Morris; and grandmother, Birty Newton.

Survivors include his spouse, Jennifer Cole; his children, Braxton Cole Morris and Bexley Ann Morris; his father, Darwin Morris of Hamilton; siblings Teri Morris of Greeley, Colorado, Veronica Morris and husband Michael Johnson of Gatesville and Carrie Pratt and husband Chris of Hamilton; his grandmother Eleanor Shearin; nieces Abigail Dyer, Trinity Craig and Danielle McCormick; and nephews Michael McCormick, Austin and Rowdy Craig, Jaden Tedford and Aaron Johnson.
