Arthur Kromer

Arthur W. Kromer Jr., 74, of Hamilton passed away on July 15, 2022.

Graveside services were Tuesday, July 19, in Blue Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.

Arthur was born on Feb. 20, 1948, to Arthur W. Kromer Sr. and Emma Kromer in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. He was a dedicated veteran, serving two tours in the Vietnam War before being honorably discharged in 1974.

In 1972, he met the love of his life Sharon Starcher, and they wed on March 6, 1973. While they did not have children together, he considered Sharon’s daughter, Kimberly Dawn, his own.

After retiring in the early 1990s, Arthur spent his time with his wife Sharon, serving the Lord, being a grandpa, watching NASCAR and drinking Pepsi.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; his parents, Arthur Kromer Sr. and Emma Kromer; and his daughter, Kimberly Dawn.

He is survived by his granddaughters, Nikki Schrank of Corpus Christi and Megan Bell of Hamilton; and six great-grandchildren, Hannah, Caleb, Bayleigh, Wyatt, Hunter and Sawyer.
