In 2018, CASA Cross Timbers Area served 168 children in 102 cases – the tragic news is that there were 214 children in our area in legal Department of Family Protective Services responsibility. There were not enough volunteers to meet the needs of all children.
“Based on the current 2019 numbers, we anticipate the number of children we need to serve this year to be even higher,” said Judy Walker, CASA CTA Executive Director. “This greatly increases our need for volunteers.
