Greg Ladesic

Gregory Alan Ladesic, 63, of Stephenville went to his heavenly reward on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, Nov. 28, at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m., and the service will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Greg was born June 18, 1958, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the John Peter and Anita Mae Hamm Ladesic. He married Carol Rogers July 24, 1982, in Granbury.

Greg grew up in Granbury and attended Tarleton State University, receiving his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He served in the U. S. Air Force as a Security Specialist. Greg served over 25 years as an Adult Probation Officer in Hamilton County. He has lived the past 39 years in Stephenville.

Greg enjoyed playing music. He was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. Greg never met a stranger, and he always had a story to tell. Above all, his greatest love was his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lonnie and David Ladesic.

Greg is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters Shelley and husband Jamie Barton of Stephenville and Melissa and husband Freddie Medina of Hamilton; grandchildren Jacob Martin and Nathan Martin of Stephenville and Jordyn Medina and Gavin Medina of Hamilton; brothers Wayne Ladesic and Karl and wife Donna Ladesic; and several nieces and nephews.
