Ramona Eley

Ramona Shrank Eley entered Heaven’s gates on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, where she was reunited after 13 years with the love of her life, Richard “Dick” Eley.

Ramona, 89, was born in 1934 in Aleman and moved to Fort Worth at the age of 18. She was a beloved wife, mom, meme, sister, in-law and friend to so many who loved her. Her faith in God was her greatest strength. Her unwavering desire to follow Him guided all her days until the very end of her earthly life.

Ramona is survived by daughter Daphne and fiancé Alex; son Mark and wife Connie; grandchildren Meaghan and fiancé Ryan, Landon and wife Taylor and Olivia; brother Oran; and inlaws, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Erwin and Eli Schrank, and sister, Elaine Schrank Caldwell.

Visitation will be held at Greenwood Funeral Home in Fort Worth on April 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Worth Friday, April 5, at 10 a.m.
