Lynn Weems

Wyndale Lynn Weems, 76, of Waco went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021.

Due to COVID concerns, the memorial service will be limited to family. Under normal circumstances, the plethora of people who held a place in Lynn’s heart would be invited to attend the celebration of life of this incredible man.

Lynn was born Dec. 7, 1944, in Quitman to Sam and Nettie Weems.

He was a graduate of Quitman High School, Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and St. Mary’s University in San Antonio with a master’s degree in psychology.

In 1966, he married the love of his life, Naomi Andrews. He was a dedicated employee of the Texas Youth Commission for 40 years and concluded his career at the Waco Center for Youth.

He was a devout Christian, loving father ,and committed husband. He was loved by all he knew.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Naomi, and son Brent of Waco and brother Danny of Quitman.
