Louis Donahoo
Louis Wayne Donahoo, 82, of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020.
He was born to Albert Clifford and Lona Eunice Donahoo and raised in Hamilton. Graduating Hamilton schools, Louis spent two years in the Army stationed in Germany. He drove trucks from Germany to France delivering supplies from base and back.
When Louis arrived back home he went to work in Houston at a steel mill. After two years he moved back to Hamilton and started working with Murlin Bottlinger driving a truck. Louis stayed after Murlin passed and worked with Charlie. Louis was ready to retire and did!
Louis and Frances enjoyed their home together, along with his stepchildren and step grandkids. Louis dearly loved the new great-grandkids. He was proud to have these kids around to love.
He started having heart and other health problems, and after a while Louis needed more care than we could give him. We had to let him into nursing care, so we moved him from the hospital to Rocking Chair Ranch where they gave him the best care possible. Louis was tired and could not go much further, and while at rest the Lord granted him eternal rest. He is barely gone and already missed by our family and good friend and boss Charlie, and many more. Rest in peace. Your loving family, wife Frances, kids and grandkids.
Louis in preceded in death by his parents Albert and Lona Eunice Donahoo; brothers, John Thomas, James Floyd and baby brother Raymond.
Louis is survived by a nephew and several cousins and family.
