Jaime Ramirez

Jaime Ramirez’s love of life and family didn’t come to an end with his death. Jaime passed away on Sept. 23, 2021, at the age of 68 after a courageous battle with many health issues, surrounded by his wife of 47 years and his four children who loved him and will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Jaime worked in construction for many years in Hamilton and the surrounding areas. Many know him by his beautiful rock work and exceptional work ethic. Jaime was a hard worker and took pride in all that he did. He loved providing for his family and enjoyed the time he spent with his wife Lily as they were always together.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Jaime. He loved a quiet evening with his family and had an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily activities. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met.

Jaime is survived by his wife Lazara (Lily); his children Vicente Ramirez and wife Elva, Simona Thompson and husband Derrell, Nancy Najera and husband Jose Luis and Jaime Ramirez and wife Vianey; his grandchildren Jessi Hawkins, Vicente Timothy Ramirez, Kristina Ramirez, Liliana Ramirez, Leslie Ramirez, Eduardo Ramirez, Esteban Silva, Jaymee Thompson, Ethan Thompson, Esmeralda Najera, Jose Luis Najera, Emily Najera, Hector Najera, Ariana Ramirez, Viviana Ramirez and Catalina Ramirez; six siblings; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
