Lurine Youngblood Wilson

Lurine Youngblood Wilson passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020, in Lubbock, Texas.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 15 at First United Methodist Church in Hamilton, with Pastor Samantha Chambers officiating. Burial was in Murphee Cemetery in Evant.

Lurine was born April 22, 1931, at Vista Mountain to Leith and Leona (Mason) Youngblood. She grew up on the family farm on Vista Mountain and attended school in Evant, where she graduated as salutatorian. After high school, she attended Tarleton State University and studied Home Economics.

Joan Stegemoller

Joan Stegemoller, 86, of Hamilton died Aug. 15, 2020, in Goldthwaite.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Aug. 18, in Pottsville Cemetery with Linda Warren officiating.

Mrs. Stegemoller was born Nov. 11, 1933, in Harbin, the daughter of James Ed Kuykendall and Ruby Keel Reynolds.

She was a homemaker and married to Milton Albert Stegmoller. She was a member of Park Heights Church of Christ.

Frances Prewitt

Frances Prewitt, 76, of Hamilton passed away Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020, at Hamilton Healthcare Center.

Graveside services were held Sunday, Aug. 16, in San Saba City Cemetery with Pastor Samantha Chambers officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba.

James Headley Jr.

James Wesley Headley Jr., 91, passed away July 26, 2020.

Graveside services were held in Shive Public Cemetery 10 a.m. Aug. 1 under the direction of Riley Funeral Home.

Mr. Headley was born in Bentonville, Arkansas, Dec. 12, 1928, to James Wesley Sr. and June Rusella Smith Headley. He was the seventh child of a family of 13.

He traveled to northwest Kansas in a covered wagon, where he grew up. As a young man he was a horseman and made money breaking horses.

Fay Senger

Gladys Fay Senger, 94, of Hamilton, passed away Friday, July 31, 2020, in Gatesville.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 3, at St. John Lutheran Church in Hamilton, with Pastor Keith Reich officiating. Burial was in the old I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Lydia Wagner

Lydia Augusta Anna Peters Wagner passed away July 29, 2020, in Hamilton.

A graveside service was held Monday, Aug. 3, in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Pottsville.

Mrs. Wagner was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Shive to Mr. and Mrs. Gus Peters, the youngest of 10 children.

She was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Shive, and confirmed March 17, 1940, in St. Paul Lutheran Church by Rev. G. C. Senff. She went to the Shive school.
