Advances for 2020

By the time you read this, Christmas 2020 will be well on its way to us. And of course, a week later, we finally get to say goodbye to 2020 and hello to 2021.

The pandemic has reshaped our lives this year, but the good news is there are vaccines on the way.

From the Alzheimer’s disease front, there is also good news. COVID has dominated the headlines for much of the year, but there are five takeaways in Alzheimer’s research for 2020.

Hamilton County Historical Museum

The Hamilton County Historical Museum has been working on the outside grounds décor for fall – planting flowers, cleaning out flower beds and preparing for a possible fundraiser outside. Hopefully we will be able to post date soon. We have several new displays to show, update next week.

The museum has had a few changes in officers and will be adding a few new boards for other projects. James Yates, president, building board; Coni Guinn, vice president, events, fundraisers and projects; Alyce Poteet, secretary; Karla Curry, treasurer and membership.
