Friends of Hamilton ISD Education Foundation’s fourth annual Boots and Bling will be held Saturday at Studio on the Square.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the event will feature a catered dinner by J&M from Gatesville starting at 6:30 p.m. and entertainment by Dennis Jones and band.

FoHISD uses the event to kick off its fifth annual campaign. Last year’s fundraising effort was a huge success because of support from the community – and it’s hopeful this year’s kickoff will be just as successful.

Donors contributing to FoHISD can see their funds benefiting schools, teachers and students. HISD students in our HISD schools benefit directly from grants that FoHISD provides daily through innovated classroom grants, dual credit tuition, special projects and scholarships.

For more information on all the programs and past grants awarded, visit or ask any FoHISD board member.
