Chris Wood

Chris DeWayne Wood, 71, of San Antonio passed away Jan. 13, 2024.

Services will be March 9 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Hamilton.

Mr. Wood was born Feb. 19, 1952, the son of Billy G. Wood and Martha Frances Williams Wood. He graduated from Hamilton High School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Frances; father, Billy; and older brother, Barry.

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Carrasco; sonin- law, John Paul Carrasco; their children, Emma and Luke; his son, Josh; his only sister, Pamela White; her husband, Rusty; his sister-in-law, Barbara; his nephews Bryan Wood and Jerod Horner and his niece, Megan Crowell, and all their loving families.

He will forever be known for his gentle spirit, lighthearted jokes and infinite love for his family. Please keep them in your prayers.
